Tree care with international experience

Hello there!

I am Teja Kotilainen Strömberg, an arborist from Helsinki, Finland.

I started my journey in the green industry in 2013 by studying gardening in Stockholm, Sweden. I then proceeded to forestry in 2015 in Linköping, Sweden. I started working as a climbing arborist in 2016 and graduated from Hyria in Hyvinkää, Finland 2018. Since then I’ve worked for arborist companies in Finland, Sweden and Germany picking up knowhow from experienced international colleagues.

And this is the skillset I’m offering now with Ekenäs in Raseborg as my base. Our network of arborists covers the whole of the Southern Finland, so if you’re puzzled about your trees, you’re welcome to contact us and we’ll sort it out. We’re no strangers to pruning, reduction, felling or planting of trees. Landscaping is something I like to specialise in. We’re following safety rules and aim at being efficient at everything we do.

PRUNING

Major Deadwood is the name of the game! Anything that can take you out, comes out. We can prune any species and sizes of trees. Lifting and thinning done when needed.

CROWN BRACING

In case of a limb with inclusive bark or otherwise potentially hazardous, can bracing be a good option to secure the limb in the tree and prolong the life of a tree – and property below.

CROWN REDUCTION

Instead of felling, trees can be reduced. This leaves at least some of the tree standing which is good for the biodiversity.

TREE FELLING

I as an arborist am trained in removing trees everywhere, even in tight spots close to buildings and other infrastructure by various methods. There is always a way...

TRANSPLANTING

Sometimes there’s a juicy juvenile tree growing in a wrong place, which can be moved. This is an option to consider.
